What is Pokemon Garbage Gold Deluxe?
Pokemon Garbage Gold Deluxe is a new Non-profit fanmade NDS game created by sauceyaTTa. It is a big remake of the old Garbage Gold game using the HG Engine. The game is a hard “trash-lock” style that is great for people who like Nuzlocke challenges, but anyone can try it. The game modernizes battle mechanics, adds a from-scratch Gen-4–style battle AI, includes 420+ available Pokemon with custom learnsets, completely remakes trainer teams and maps, and delivers a full graphical and musical overhaul.
Note:
This project is an extensive overhaul of Pokemon Garbage Gold built on the HG Engine and is its own work by sauceyaTTa. Pokemon HeartGold Deluxe is the first NDS Gmae with a completely from-scratch battle AI.
Full Features
1. Trash-lock / Nuzlocke style Gameplay
The game is made to be hard. Many Pokemon do not evolve or evolve very late. You get fewer strong Pokemon and must use weaker ones smartly. You also have to manage your items carefully.
2. 420+ Pokemon and Pokedex up to Gen 9
There are more than 420 Pokemon. The Pokedex has Pokemon from Gen 1 all the way to Gen 9. It also has regional forms from Alola, Galar, and Hisui.
3. Completely custom made Battle Ai
The creator made a brand new Battle Ai that thinks differently. Battles feel new and smarter.
4. New Story and New Areas
The story is different from the old games. There are new places to explore and new events to find.
5. Mega Evolution and New Items
Mega Evolutions are in the game. There are also new items like Eviolite and many more that change how battles play.
6. New Starters and Regional Forms
There are new starter choices for players. Some Pokemon have regional forms from Alola, Galar, and Hisui, so familiar monsters can look and act different.
7. Custom level-up learnsets for every Pokemon
Every Pokemon learns moves in new ways. They do not use the old vanilla move sets, so it feels fresh.
8. Modern moves, abilities, and mechanics
The game adds modern moves and abilities from newer Pokemon games. Battles feel up-to-date.
9. Gauntlets and Tough Challenges

Many new songs are added. Some are from newer Pokemon games and some are brand new.
